Coming Up For Air

It’s been a minute.

I can’t believe it’s almost 4 years since I took the time to write.

I can’t even put my finger on why I stopped. Probably something else I can attribute to the pandemic. Or laziness. Or maybe just a general lack of self-care.

But I can tell you… I’ve missed it.

And it’s time to come up for air.

I won’t bore you with a full rundown of the past four years, but the short version is that I have struggled. I struggled with the pandemic. I struggled with my own demons. I struggled with priorities. And most recently I struggled to deliver one of the most insane projects of my professional career.

I’m hoping that by revisiting my writing, spending time to reflect on my priorities and what makes me happy and rewarded, and a fresh opportunity to explore new professional opportunities that I will be able to put those struggles behind me.

I’m pulling myself free of the challenges, focusing on my own health and the health of my relationships, and looking for new ways to share my experience professionally.

While the struggles of the past four years have been real, they have also provided me an amazing opportunity to get to know my own capabilities and limitations in a lot more detail.

The next chapter is where I shine. Where the clouds part. Where the rainbow shines.

I’m more focused than I’ve ever been. I know where my strengths lie. I know where I have to work harder.

I can’t wait to take on new challenges and deliver new value to new business partners. I can’t wait to explore new problems and find new solutions. I can’t wait to use my super powers to create more business successes.

It’s been a minute.

But I’m back.
